For american CME accreditation, IMCAS World Congress 2015 is accredited via three different institutions:

Conversion via EACCME credit - accreditation under process

EACCME credits are recognized by the American Medical Association towards the Physician’s Recognition Award (PRA). The AMA PRA Category 1 Credits are available for all the specialists.

Apply for conversion of EACCME credits to AMA PRA Category 1 CreditTM (conversion ratio equals 1) and download the «Application for EACCME Credit Conversion» on AMA website. Then, submit the completed application by fax or mail along with a copy of the EACCME credit certificate and processing fee.

American Academy of Dermatology - Up to 18 credits

The International Master Course on Aging Skin Annual World Congress (Program #65108) is recognized by the American Academy of Dermatology for 18 AAD Recognized Credit(s) and may be used toward the American Academy of Dermatology’s Continuing Medical Education Award.

AKH Inc - Advancing Knowledge in Healthcare / ACCME Joint Providership - Up to 5 credits

Target Audience

This activity is designed to meet the needs of physicians, nurses, and professional staff members of medical practices specializing in dermatology, plastic surgery, cosmetic surgery and other dermatologic medical procedures.

Learning objectives

Upon completion of the educational activity, participants should be able to:

  • Identify current trends in clinical dermatology
  • Assess current and emerging therapies for psoriasis
  • Review how to effectively detect and diagnose various skin cancers and determine the best treatment options for basal cell carcinoma, squamous cell carcinoma and malignant melanoma
  • Discuss the current indications, limitations, and potential uses for photodynamic therapy
  • Discuss the pathology and treatment options for acne and rosacea

Criteria for Success

Statements of credit will be awarded based on the participant's attendance and submission of the activity evaluation form. A statement of credit will be available upon completion of an online evaluation/claimed credit form at www.akhcme.com/imcas. You must participate in the entire activity to receive credit.
