Abstract submission / Introduction
On behalf of the Scientific Committee of IMCAS Annual Meeting 2013, we invite you to submit an abstract.

Those sessions are strictly independent of any contributed support (commercial, public, or private foundation grants). Any potential financial gain that may be derived from reported work may constitute a potential conflict of interest.
The topic strictly deals with the medical aspect of our work: physiopathology, medical or surgical technique, side effects. If the topic deals with the use of a special product of device, it has to be comparative.

Those sessions may contain lectures with contributed support (commercial, public, or private foundation grants). Consequently, IMCAS does not endorse any content.
The abstract content has to deal with an innovative product or device (already on the market for less than a year or still in development). This is a fantastic opportunity offered to our partners of the industry to explain the new perspectives brought to the practice of our specialty by their product/device, either in aesthetic surgery or cosmetic dermatology.

The abstract content has to deal with the economic and/or financial analysis of the aesthetic medical market on a regional, national or international scale.

Those sessions consist in interactive meetings between inventors and industrial representatives to discuss an invention or a discovery.
It's a fantastic opportunity for the inventor to explain to the industry how their idea could open new horizons for the practice concerned, whether in the aesthetic surgery or in the cosmetic dermatology field.
The abstract content has to deal with an innovative product or application and briefly explain why this new item is innovative and worthy of interest for an industrial representative, for it could make its way in mainstream practice.
Presentation format is: an interactive session gathering one R&D or Marketing & Sales representative and one pre-registered attendee; this latest bringing one new tool or product to discuss (15 mn). Submit your incubator abstract
The submission deals with research papers featuring:
- either clinical studies or
- researches presented during a lecture in one of the Congress Scientific Sessions
Basically, if a doctor wants to compete, he/she has to present a paper that could fulfil one the two following conditions:
- the paper has to be published or soon to be published in one of the medical journals acknowledged by MEDLINE or
- the author commits to get it published within the 6 months following the congress
The most creative and outstanding papers will receive an award during LA NUIT DES IMCAS AWARDS. Presentation format is - besides the lecture for personal research - a PowerPoint slide summarizing the research to be displayed on the ceremony. Submit your awards abstract
This year, the celebration of IMCAS 15th anniversary will be marked with charity.
"La Nuit des IMCAS Awards" submission will accordingly deal with abstracts featuring presentations of humanitarian actions in our medical field. The most original and deserving humanitarian actions will receive an award during La Nuit des IMCAS Awards.
