Croquis Signed Deal to Advance in 12 MENA Countries

Samyang Biopharm announced on June 3rd that the company signed a contract with Amico, a medical device firm in the Middle East, to provide the thread lift brand Croquis.

Amico is a medical device firm which operates production facilities in six regions including the US and Canada. It has established its sales network in 12 MENA countries such as Saudi Arabia, Iran, and Egypt and recorded KRW 500 billion in revenue in 2018.

Samyang Biopharm started fully targeting the global market this year after successfully developing Croquis and acquiring CE marking, a requirement to enter the EU market. In addition to the Middle East, the company is also preparing to get into Brazil, Mexico, and Russia. Currently, a sales permit is being sought in each country, and starting with Mexico in the second half of this year, the company will expand its sales regions to Russia and Brazil by the second half of next year.
