Dr Eugenio GANDOLFI

Eugenio Gandolfi obtained a degree in Medicine and Surgery from the Ghisleri College of the University of Pavia in 1986 with top marks and honours, and subsequently a specialty in Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery.

Professional activity
At the age of 27 he became the youngest Plastic Surgery assistant in Italy In 1993 he was the primary assistant in the Plastic Surgery department of the Sant'Anna Hospital in Como, 

In 2002 he obtained Swiss recognition (FMH) of his degree and specialization, free practice in the Canton of Ticino and the concordat number in his specialty. He currently works in both the fields of Medicine and Aesthetic Surgery and Reconstructive Surgery paid for by health insurance companies.

University activity
He has held teaching positions in Surgery and Aesthetic Medicine at universities and for 20 years was a professor of Aesthetic Surgery and Laser Surgery at the post-university Higher School of Aesthetic Medicine in Milan.

. During his professional career, Dr. Eugenio Gandolfi has gained in-depth experience in both aesthetic and reconstructive plastic surgery by working abroad in the plastic surgery departments of the Karolinska University Hospital in Stockholm (Sweden), the University Hospital of Vienna (Austria), the Department of Plastic, Reconstructive, Malformative Surgery and Burn Therapy of the University of Bergen (Norway) and the Department of Plastic Surgery and Microsurgery of the Catholic University of Leuven (Belgium), the Department of Plastic Surgery of University of Birmingham in Alabama (United States).

Associations and research
He is President (2016-2018) of the Italian Association of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (AICPE) of which he is also a founding member. He was National Councilor of the Italian Society of Reconstructive and Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (SICPRE) for 2 terms , of which he is an Ordinary member, member of the American Society for  (ASAPS) ,  (ASPS), (ISAPS) ,  (ASLMS) and the European Society for Laser Aesthetic Surgery (ESLAS) .
