Dr Tim PAPADOPOULOS

Dr. Tim Papadopoulos, BSc, MBBS, FRACS (Gen.), FRACS (Plast.)

Dr. Papadopoulos is the Head of the Dept. of Plastic Surgery at Westmead Private Hospital, as well as, the Founder and Medical Director of CosmeticCulture Clinics in Sydney. Dr. Papadopoulos earned his Science and Medical degrees from Monash University, Melbourne. He completed his postgraduate training in both General Surgery in Melbourne and Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery in Sydney. Dr. Papadopoulos underwent further subspecialty training and attained Fellowships in both Cosmetic Surgery and Hand, Wrist and Microsurgery.

He has served as Past President of the Australasian Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (ASAPS), is a Board Director of the International Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (ISAPS) and ISAPS Visiting Professor, and is the Regional Vice-Chair for Australia-Asia for the Aesthetic Society in America. He is also the Scientific Convenor for the Non-Surgical Symposium and Anatomy Cadaver Dissection Workshop and is a dissector/tutor for various anatomical cadaver workshops including the world-renowned Melbourne Advanced Facial Anatomy Course (MAFAC).

Dr. Papadopoulos has contributed several chapters to plastic surgery textbooks and has authored or co-authored numerous articles in national and international peer-reviewed publications. He has presented more than 200 major academic presentations throughout the world and is actively involved in various research projects in the areas of functional abdominoplasty, facial rejuvenation, platysmal bands, BIA-ALCL, fillers/toxins, gut microbiome, skin cancers and lasers. He serves on the board of reviewers for the Aesthetic Surgery Journal (ASJ), the Aesthetic Plastic Surgery Journal (APS) and the Australasian Journal of Plastic Surgery (AJOPS).

Dr. Papadopoulos is a frequent lecturer and speaker both nationally and internationally, has appeared on TV and radio shows, and is regularly consulted and quoted in the print media.
