Richard J. Warren MD is a Clinical Professor of Plastic Surgery at the University of British Columbia (UBC) in Vancouver where he served as Professor and Chairman of the Plastic Surgery Division. He is now the Chairman of Plastic Surgery in Canada (Chair of Plastic Surgery specialty committee with the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada). Dr. Warren is a Director of the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery as well as the Canadian Society of Plastic Surgeons. He is past president of the Canadian Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery and the Northwest Society of Plastic Surgeons. He is the past Chairman of the Plastic Surgery Examination board with the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada and is currently a senior examiner with the American Board of Plastic Surgery. Dr. Warren has been a guest lecturer and surgical demonstrator at universities and medical centers around the world and has been a Travelling Professor for the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery. He is currently the director of the Travelling Professor program for the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery.After training in Vancouver, Norfolk Virginia and Los Angeles, Dr. Warren has practiced in Vancouver since 1983. He is the founder and Medical Director of the Vancouver Plastic Surgery Center. Dr. Warren’s clinical interests are in the surgery of facial rejuvenation, rhinoplasty and aesthetic breast surgery.Dr. Warren is the author of numerous articles and 7 textbook chapters. He is the Medical Education Editor for the Aesthetic Surgery Journal. Dr. Warren’s textbook, the Aesthetic Volume in Neligan Plastic Surgery, 3rd Edition – was published in 2013.
