Dr. Akiko IMAIZUMI

Dr. Imaizumi is a distinguished medical professional specializing in dermatology and aesthetic medicine. She completed her MD at St. Marianna University School of Medicine in 2001, followed by a PhD in Dermatology in 2004 from the same institution. 

Dr. Imaizumi gained clinical experience at the Japan Red Cross Medical Center in Dermatology (2001–2003) and pursued academic research at Weill Cornell Medical College in New York until 2007.

Currently, Dr. Imaizumi worked as the Medical Director at Imaizumi Skin Clinic. Her role extends as a Medical and Scientific Affairs Advisor for several global companies, including Allergan Japan, Galderma Japan, and L'Oréal Asia Pacific. She is also a respected faculty member of the International Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (ISAPS) and holds a board position with the Japan Society of Aesthetic Surgery (JSAS).

Her career reflects a dedicated focus on advancing aesthetic treatments and dermatology through both clinical and academic avenues.
