Dr. Anna BOROVIKOVA

Anna A. Borovikova, M. D., is a Board Certified Plastic Surgeon from Moscow, Russia. Graduated the Russian National Research Medical University in 2012 with honours. Completed a 1-year internship in General Surgery based on the Russian Academy of Sciences Hospital, followed by a 2-year Plastic Surgery residency at the Moscow Medical Academy. After that, completed a 2-year research program as a postdoctorate research fellow at the Center for Tissue Engineering, Department of Platic Surgery, University of California, Irvine. The research was focused on adipose-derived stem cell activation by mechanical stress and cartilage bioengineering.

Dr. Borovikova has publications in Plastic Surgery Journals both in English and Russian on various topics including adipose tissue biological properties, aesthetic breast surgery, etc. Her areas of practical interest include: primary and revision aesthetic breast surgery, abdominoplasty and fat grafting. She is a current member of the Russian Society of Plastic Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgeons. 

Dr. Borovikova is currently working as a plastic surgeon as part of a private practice in Moscow, Russia.
