Dr. Babar K RAO

Dr. Babar K. Rao is board certified in both Dermatology and Dermatopathology and is a leading authority on pigmented lesions, as well as a pioneer in Dermoscopy and Confocal Microscopy. Dr. Rao has completed residency training and fellowships at the University of London, UT Southwestern, New York University, and Cornell University, and currently serves as Clinical Professor of Dermatology and Dermatopathology of the Department of Dermatology at Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School. Dr. Rao is also an Associate Clinical Professor of Dermatology at Weill Cornell Medical College. ·     Dr. Rao has published numerous peer-reviewed articles, written several book chapters, and has published the Atlas of Confocal Microscopy in Dermatology. In addition to his significant clinical research, publications and presentations related to RCM, Dr. Rao has pioneered the integration of RCM into the clinic at his private practice and at the Department of Dermatology at Rutgers. Dr. Rao is also a member of the Skin of Color Society, Vitiligo Working Group, AAD Volunteer Abroad Committee, and AAD IT Committee. ..
