Dr. Wong Chee Keen is a Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery trainee at the Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery Department, Hospital Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. He received his foundational surgical training at the Reconstructive Sciences Unit, Hospital Universiti Sains Malaysia, the country's sole university that offers plastic surgery training currently, where he developed broad clinical expertise in burn care, craniofacial surgery, microsurgical reconstruction, breast reconstruction, and aesthetic plastic surgery.
His academic and clinical interests encompass burn management and reconstruction, wound healing, microsurgery, breast surgery, and aesthetic surgical procedures. Alongside his clinical practice, Dr. Wong is actively engaged in research activities and has presented scientific work at both national and international conferences. His research portfolio focuses on burn outcomes, healthcare resource utilization, wound management, reconstructive techniques, and evidence-based approaches to patient care.
