Founder & Plastic Surgeon

Dr Dimitrios Drakotos founder of Art Surgery is a board-certified plastic surgeon in Greece. Trained in Plastic surgery, Aesthetic surgery and Reconstructive surgery. He graduated with honours from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, where he also finished his Residency in General Surgery. Upon completing medical school he continued his Plastic Surgery training in Germany, at the Dusseldorf University Hospital followed by a Research fellowship at the Friedrich-Alexander University Erlangen and at the Martin Luther Hospital in Berlin. During this time he took a post in Aesthetic Plastic Surgery at the Clinica Vita private Clinic, in Berlin. Following his return in Greece, he attended combined posts in Plastic Surgery, Urology, ENT Departments completing his training in several fields of Plastic Surgery as well as in Trauma and Burn Units in order to cover the entire reconstructive spectrum. Between his plastic surgery years, he acquired extended training, next to physicians, in well-known clinics abroad and he now specializes in procedures such as Gluteal Sculpture, Rhinoplasty and Breast Augmentation.

Dr Drakotos has taken part in various international Congresses as a speaker on several topics of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery. Dr Drakotos, is also a member of the Athens Medical Association and of the Hellenic Society of Plastic Reconstructive & Aesthetic Surgery (HESPRAS).
