My passion for Aesthetics began during my internship at the Department of Plastic Surgery at the University of Genoa from 1992 to 1994. During this formative period, I delved into the complexities of Plastic Surgery and developed a pioneering thesis on the application of virtual reality in plastic surgery training. This initiative demonstrated my commitment to innovation and my dedication to advancing the field.
As my career progressed, I specialized in head and neck surgery, with a particular interest in Otology under the mentorship of Professor Angelo Salami, the Clinical Director of the ENT Department. I pursued an Otology Fellowship in Auckland, New Zealand, followed by a PhD at McGill University, where I researched central vestibular adaptation to peripheral vestibular damage.
This diverse academic background showcases my adaptability and depth of expertise across various medical domains.
Despite these pursuits, my passion for Aesthetics remained strong. In the early 2000s, I founded the Southport Rejuvenation Clinic, focusing on advancing aesthetic enhancement.
Concurrently, I continued to develop my clinical and business interests, staying abreast of industry trends and demands.
Today, I am proud to be at the forefront of a transformative movement in healthcare. Alongside esteemed colleagues, I am leading an initiative that combines clinical expertise, diagnostic acumen, and profound knowledge in aesthetic procedures. Together, we are redefining the landscape of healthcare and pushing the boundaries of possibility in Aesthetics and beyond.
