Dr. Jean Carruthers is a globally-recognized cosmetic surgery expert who has played a pivotal role in the development of some of the world’s most successful cosmetic procedures, having authored over 450 peer reviewed scientific articles and book chapters. A highly sought-after speaker on the global stage, Dr. Carruthers has given thousands of presentations on cosmetic surgery and has been featured in Best Doctors in Canada, The New York Times, Allure, Time, Newsweek and Vogue as well as on 20/20. With her husband, Dr. Alastair Carruthers, she pioneered the cosmetic use of botulinum A exotoxin (or Botox) and continues to drive its advances.
