Dr. Ong is a cardiothoracic assistant surgeon and aesthetic physician with more than a decade of surgical experience in Uniportal Video-assisted Thoracoscopic Surgery (UVATS) and Minimally Invasive Cardiac Surgery (MICS). He has co‑authored multiple peer-reviewed publications in cardiothoracic surgery and presented at numerous international meetings. He serves as a reviewer for Thoracic Cancer journal and conducted translational implementation research in AI for lung cancer detection and management. His research publications also include biomaterials, regenerative medicine, 3D/4D bioprinting of the myocardium, with applications in tissue engineering and clinical medicine.
In addition, he has a strong interest in facial aesthetics, specializing in anatomy-driven Botox treatments. His approach combines evidence-based protocols and advanced injection techniques that respect the biomechanics and physiology of the human facial architecture. Each treatment is performed with the understanding of optimizing expression and facial symmetry to achieve natural-looking results while minimizing risk and discomfort.
