Dr. Leah K SPRING

Dr. Leah Spring is a board-certified dermatologist and fellowship-trained Mohs Micrographic Surgeon and Cosmetic Dermatologic Surgeon.  A graduate of Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine, Dr. Spring completed her dermatology residency training at Naval Medical Center San Diego in San Diego, California.  She completed her advanced fellowship training at SkinCare Physicians in Boston.  

Dr. Spring has published over 20 peer-reviewed scientific papers and textbook chapters, and has served on three international consensus committees for the treatment of traumatic scars, acne scars, and the timing of surgical and laser procedures in the setting of isotretinoin.

Prior to her dermatology training, Dr. Spring served as a Flight Surgeon for the United States Navy.  She is currently the Head of Procedural Dermatology at Naval Medical Center Portsmouth, and leads the laser scar program for Wounded Warriors.
