Dr. Maria-Angeliki Gkini qualified from Aristotle University Medical School in Greece. She started her training in Dermatology at ‘’401 Military Hospital‘’  and ‘’Syggros Hospital‘’, Athens, Greece, while she completed her PhD  on the safety and efficacy of PRP in the management of androgenetic alopecia. She later moved to London to carry on with her training at Barts Health NHS Trust, London, UK.  Currently, she is a Dermatologist  at Barts Health NHS Trust, where she treats dermatology patients and she is a principal investigator and sub-investigator in numerous commercial and academic studies. She also works privately  at Dr Haus Dermatology in Harley Street, London, where she practises aesthetic  dermatology. She has participated as a speaker at many national and international congresses and she has published her research in international peer-reviewed journals. Dr Gkini has also received several awards and grants.  Her special interests include hair disorders, psychodermatology, regenerative medicine and aesthetic dermatology.
