Dr. Merve YILDIRIM

After graduating from Yeditepe University, Department of Genetics and Bioengineering in 2014, she carried out studies on the production of an enzyme that prevents fruit decay. In 2015, he worked as a certification manager at Biomerieux Diagnostic.
In 2017 she joined in Prof.Dr.Fikrettin Şahin's team and study plant-derived exosomes in the treatment of breast, colon, lung, liver, prostate and mesothelioma cancers. With this study, she completed his master's degree with high honor degree and started her PhD program. There are various patent applications and publications about plant-derived exosomes.
She was able to obtain bone, cartilage, muscle and heart muscle by treating stem cells with plant-derived exosomes  She discovered  a novel  treatment of osteoarthritis with Plant-derived exosome.

 In 2020, she was elected as the Scientific Chairman of the Cancer Free Life Youth Committee.She is the co-founder of Cellestetix Genetic Consulting R&D and Biotechnology company.

She is now working on obesity treatment using plant-derived exosomes. As a result of her studies, she developed first  smart cosmetic product Bioburn, which tirggers slimming and reduces cellulite, with exosomes obtained from pineapple.
