Dr. Nastaran DANESHGAR

Dr. Pouran Layegh graduated from Mazandaran University of Medical Sciences in 1997. She started her residency training program in the field of dermatology soon afterwards, which took her four years to finish in 2001. Following her attaining the second top rank in the National Board Dermatology Assessment, she commenced her academic career as an assistant professor of Dermatology in MUMS. Ever since, she has made progress in both teaching and research, having produced in excess of 40 papers, 3 books as well as 34 presentations and 11 workshops. Currently, she has 24 research projects at hand, most of which in collaboration with her protégé, Nastaran Daneshgar M.D. , who has recently finished her general medical training in MUMS and persuading dermatology residency.
