Biografia
Dr. Susan Cheong is a dual-certified licensed doctor in plastic and aesthetic surgery in both Mainland China and Macao🇲🇴🇨🇳, also certified as ISAPS member. She is currently working as an attending physician at Macao Yinkui Hospita and a plastic surgery hospital in Shenzhen.
Dr. Cheong received her PhD in Plastic and Aesthetic Surgery from Nanfang Hospital, Southern
Medical University, and earned her Master’s degree in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery from Shanghai Ninth People’s Hospital, Shanghai Jiao Tong University School of Medicine.
Beyond clinical practice, Dr. Cheong previously served as an International Medical Liaison of the
Chinese Association of Plastic and Aesthetics. She has nearly ten years of experience in simultaneous interpretation in plastic surgery and aesthetic medicine. She has also been invited to speak at major conferences on more than ten occasions, including IMCAS China, AMSC China, SIME Rome, AMSC Asia, and AMSC Malaysia, delivering in Cantonese, Mandarin, and English.
Her academic interests focus on aesthetic surgery, regenerative medicine, particularly extracellular matrix-related research. She has published more than ten SCI-indexed articles, also serves as a peer reviewer for academic journals.
In collaboration with leading overseas scholars in the humanities, Dr. Cheong has making videos
integrate medicine with perspectives from the humanities and social sciences(IG:drsusancheong,
Wx:Drsusancheong). From a clinical and professional standpoint, she connects the global evolution of
plastic surgery, aesthetic medicine, the anti-aging industry, and cultural history, exploring the relationship
between medicine and society. In recognition of her international influence, she was honored with the 2026
Most Internationally Influential Doctor Award at a major medical aesthetics, fashion, and culture event in China.
