Prof Navneet MAGON

Professor Navneet Magon is a globally renowned Reconstructive and Cosmetic Gynecologist & is Chairman & Founder President of Urogynecology & Pelvic Health Association of India as well as of The Society of Cosmetic Gynecology. He is one of the first Indian physician to embrace Cosmetic Gynecology, & his contributions as pioneer of FCGS in India have been well acknowledged. He is an astute clinician, a daring surgeon, an inspirational teacher and a thought-provoking author. 
Before joining the civil life, Professor Magon was with Indian Armed Forces for 17 years and served as Specialist Gynecologist & Associate Professor at Army College of Medical Sciences in New Delhi. Then he entered private practice & as a surgeon in high demand, operating across various important cities of India including New Delhi & Mumbai, where he was a Senior Consultant in the top Gynecology Centers of Fortis and Apollo groups, the major heath-care chains in India. He frequently travels across all continents as an invited speaker, teacher and trainer for Cosmetic Gynecology, Reconstructive Gynecology and Urogynecology. He promotes the non-deceptive practice of Cosmetic-Plastic Gynecology and is making very significant scientific clinical contributions to this field. He has more than 75 peer reviewed publications and is a peer reviewer and on the editorial board for various journals. Widely published, Professor Magon is now developing The International Journal of Reconstructive and Cosmetic Gynecology, published by Wolters Kluwer as the Editor-in-Chief. 
 
The biggest contribution of Professor Magon is to establish and head the world’s first dedicated Division of Reconstructive & Cosmetic-Plastic Gynecology in any university medical school; at All India Institute of Medical Sciences, Rishikesh, India. But he didn’t stop at that. He conceptualized and established the world’s first ever post-doctoral three-year residency fellowship program in Cosmetic Gynecology and serves as the Program Director for the same.
