Objectives: To get the younger appearance, and more beautiful look Introduction: A thread lift is a procedure that uses a dissolvable suture to tighten and lift the skin. Barbed suture aims to lift and sculpt the shape of the face. The question is why some procedure has a great result, and some others don't. There are many factors, Right assessment (choosing the good candidate, choosing the right case), Set Strategy (choosing the combination of the Threads, choosing the Combination with other modalities), and Use of The Combination Technique (Deep & Superficial for different purposes). Materials / method: many types of Threads, such as Multidirectional Barbs, Bidirectional Barbs, Spiral Spring Threads, etc. Results: The Multidirectional Barbs have a few functions like Volumizing (if we go at the right deep layer of the Subcutaneous tissue), Armoring, and also Lifting, while Bidirectional has a superior effect on Lifting than Multidirectional. On the other side, for The Dynamic area of the face (like nasolabial and marionette line), they need a specific flexible thread-like Spiral Spring Thread to minimize the line and volumize it. Conclusion: In order to get maximum results, we also have to keep in mind that each area of the face is connected to the other. We are not only aiming for the younger appearance, but we also aim for a more beautiful look for our patients. It should be noted that the function of the threads nowadays, is not only for lifting, but also for contouring a few parts of the face like the nose, eyebrow, and jawline
