Objectives: To discuss the future of customized cosmetic care defined at the intersection of precision aesthetics and personalized medicine. The presentation will provide the science, tools and technology to enable the audience to incorporate this next level of precision to their practice. Introduction: The new era of Bespoke Beauty will require a truly customized approach. Cosmetic care that is shaped by one's biomarkers including genomics, hormones, nutrients and skin type as well as an individual's preferences and goals. The human genomic variation map has identified hundreds of gene loci that shape our appearance and determine how well or not we will age. Harnessing epigenetics and optimizing hormonal and nutritional inputs we can optimize and future proof our beauty. Materials / method: A detailed discussion of the genomic, epigenetic, hormonal and metabolic factors that shape our appearance and how well or not we will age. Case studies and real world examples will illustrate the applicability of this approach as Dr. Pearlman will share how she uses these inputs on a daily basis to help her patients age their best from the inside out.
