Dear Colleagues,

I came across this article and wanted to ask whether anyone else is familiar with similar research or has encountered related discussions in clinical practice. The study is based on an artificial model and uses an unusually high dose (10 units per kilogram of body weight), which suggests that multiple confounding factors may be at play.

That said, I anticipate that some of our patients may bring this up. I’m curious to hear how you interpret these findings from a scientific perspective, and how you would approach patient communication on this topic.
