Abstract

Objectives: Describing my algorithm of treatment in Male High Definition Liposcution. Understanding the Adonis Ratio and the relationship between Chest and Abdomen in Male patients. Managing the pectoral area with up to date tips and tricks. Introduction: At the Era of social medias and the cult of the « perfect » body, surgeons have to deal with the changing of patient’s expectations due to the possibility for them to connect to the results of any surgeon on the world. Patients are instantly informed of the last evolutions in cosmetic surgery , sometimes before the surgeons themselves. Materials / method: We review our male patients who undergo Liposculpture of the back , chest and Abdomen. We explain why we split the procedure in two sessions know and what is the impact in our everyday practice. Results: After splitting our procedures in two session we noticed a dramatic increase of our patients' satisfaction. The possibility to increase some muscular group a second time dramatically changed our results. The first session is really short and the recovery really fast, this give reassurance to the patient for the second surgery. It is also much less exhausting for the surgeon. Conclusion: Male Liposculpture is a growing tendancy in France and Europe, the number of male procedures in our practice doubled in two years. Male anatomy should be deeply understood by the surgeon who wish to accomplish high quality results. The respect of the proportion of the body and the shadow work are crucial to achieve properly this surgery.
