I have used just one injection on each upper and lower vermillion thus just 4 injection points in total, low G-prime HA and depending on patient’s need using 0.5 to 1 ml in total. The injection is given retrograde with a pinch to the vermilion border so you can feel the volume given rather than seeing the effect. Each practitioner to their own chosen method as long as the patient has natural outcome. Dr JJ Masani, London

Very pertinent presentation Dr Simone May. Thank you! Great advice about moderation and minimising risk of complications. Striving for elegance rather than grotesque outcomes.

Lip augmentation with fewer needle sticks would be much more comfortable for the patient.
