Abstract

Objectives: Our clinic has been using various skin rejuvenation agents to help improve our patients’ skin quality. Recently, we have been using a polynucleotide preparation from Luxembourg, which includes three types of formulations. In particular, we use the formulation with mannitol for its added stability and effectiveness. Introduction: During the COVID pandemic, we saw an increase in patients with facial redness and inflammatory skin issues due to prolonged mask wearing. Polynucleotide preparations have shown anti-inflammatory effect and help improve skin quality, making them well-suited for these cases. We also use combination device-based treatments to achieve better results. In this presentation, we will share our best clinical practices for patient selection, applying treatments, and the results we observed in our case studies. Conclusion: I normally use it on patients who would like to treat redness. Quick results are seen on younger patients in their 20s. As I showed in my clinical photos, for older patients in their 40s or above, by adding amino acid can enhance results. I personally see nice results when combining with device treatment such as RF. I have done different experiments with cannula and needle and mixing of Densify with lidocaine and sodium carbonate. I do not see any difference in the results and the mixing of lidocaine and sodium carbonate had the least amount of pain.
