Case description
This patient presented to my office complaining of a longstanding hair loss. She has family history of AGA (father and brother)
On medical examination we can see a diffuse homogeneous hair loss with white dots on the occipital area.
On dermoscopy the scalp looks scarring with peri follicular scales but not erythema.
Do you think these findings are suggestive of LPP? What differentials to consider?
I performed a biopsy.
Thank you
