1. Professional Conduct
Discussions must be clinical and relevant to patient care.
Political, racial, religious, or non-medical discussions are prohibited.
Interactions must remain respectful and collegial.
2. Independence & Conflict of Interest
Advertising, promotional activity, and commercial solicitation are prohibited.
Members discussing specific products, devices, or companies must disclose any relevant financial relationships or conflicts of interest.
The platform may not be used for marketplace activity, recruitment, commercial negotiations, or price coordination.
3. Patient Privacy & Data Protection
All cases must be fully de-identified.
By posting patient images, members confirm that prior explicit written patient consent has been obtained and retained in accordance with applicable privacy laws.
Protected Health Information (PHI) must not be shared.
Members are responsible for compliance with applicable data protection and privacy laws.
4. Content Integrity
Recommendations should align with evidence-based medical practice.
Coordinators or IMCAS staff members may remove content that is unsafe, promotional, non-compliant, or unrelated to the original case.
Unauthorized reproduction or redistribution of platform content is prohibited.
5. Responsibility & Liability
All opinions are advisory and for professional educational exchange only.
Responsibility for clinical decisions rests solely with the treating physician.
IMCAS and its advisors cannot be held liable for treatment outcomes.
6. Enforcement
Failure to comply may result in temporary suspension or permanent exclusion from the platform.
