Introduction: The number of non-surgical aesthetic treatments in male patients is increasing rapidly (94% in 5 years). But male aesthetic needs are totally different from female aesthetic needs. Facial aging is usually more apparent in women cause of the epidermal and dermal thickness. But men can loose their youthful and fresh look by sagging and volume loss too. How to treat a male patient right?
Materials / method: To enhance the male face the use of toxins and fillers has to be different than in a female patient - though you might use the same products. The amount and placement of the products needs to be on point to not feminize your patients.
Results: Different techniques like filler injections to enhance cheeks, chin and jawline might enhance the male look. The use of toxins will make your male patient look more relaxed and youthful.
