Objectives: Learn the advantages of PQQ (Pyrroloquinoline Quinone) in general, its application through hair growth, and our innovative product HERMOSA HAIRu:ts.

Introduction: Based on the research data reported through experiments and trials to date, PQQ is known as a component that aids in improving mitochondrial function and has excellent antioxidant properties, helping to activate cells.

Materials / method: - Improvement in Mitochondrial Function:
PQQ, which plays a role in supporting and protecting mitochondrial division, the process that supplies energy to cells, enhances mitochondrial function.
- Antioxidant Activity:
PQQ, with its quinone structure, is known to engage in a redox cycle 5,000 times more potent than vitamin C, thus exhibiting strong antioxidant properties.
- Safety:
PQQ is a component typically supplemented through dietary intake, and it is a water-soluble substance that does not accumulate excessively in the body but is instead excreted.

Results: NovePharma Inc. has developed the HERMOSA HAIRu:ts product by incorporating their in-house produced PQQ (NP-PQN) into a hyaluronic acid formulation (NPQ-230 complex). The key ingredients are as follows:
(1) PQQ, the primary ingredient in hair fillers, is an enzyme cofactor that is easily reduced in the body. (2) Hyaluronic acid, a fundamental ingredient in the formulation of hair fillers, serves multiple purposes. (3) Glutathione is an antioxidant that protects cells from free radicals and oxidative stress (4) L-cysteine is an essential amino acid. (5) Zinc is an essential element for growth.

Conclusion: NP-PQN is the official name for naturally produced PQQ through microbial fermentation by NovePharma Inc., and it has been formally registered in the International Cosmetic Ingredient Dictionary (ICID) by the American Cosmetic Association. NPQ-230 complex is a formulation developed by NovePharma Inc. through research, carefully blending these ingredients in optimal proportions to achieve the best possible effects when applied to areas of hair loss.
