Objectives: - Identify the structural and aesthetic characteristics of the mixed phenotype in the nose, differentiating its morphological variants.
- Apply combined structural and conservative rhinoplasty strategies to achieve optimal functional and aesthetic results.
- Select and execute grafting and cartilage management techniques adapted to the patient's anatomical variability.
Introduction: Hybrid rhinoplasty is an advanced technique that combines structural and conservative approaches to achieve optimal aesthetic and functional results. In patients with a mixed phenotype nose where bone and cartilaginous characteristics of different ethnic origins coexist, it is essential to adapt the surgery to harmonize the nasal structure without compromising respiratory function. This approach allows greater precision in defining the tip, reducing the dorsum and improving nasal support, achieving a natural and lasting balance.
Results: The results show a significant improvement in facial harmony, with a slimmer nasal tip, a reduction in the dorsal hump and the preservation of key structures to maintain naturalness.
Conclusion: Hybrid rhinoplasty in mixed-phenotype noses allows for optimal facial harmonization by combining structural and conservative techniques. This comprehensive approach achieves aesthetic refinements without compromising nasal functionality, adapting to the anatomical particularities of each patient.
