Objectives: Exosome therapy, especially rose stem cell-derived exosomes (RSCEs), offers promising treatment for pigmentary disorders like melasma and IGH. RSCEs regulate melanogenesis, activate melanocytes, and reduce inflammation. Combining RSCEs with energy-based devices (EBDs) like fractional lasers and microneedling enhances results. Clinical studies show improved pigmentation, with repigmentation in hypopigmented areas and reduced hyperpigmentation, with minimal side effects. Further research is needed to refine protocols and assess long-term safety.

Objectives: Cosmetic contact dermatitis (CCD) is an increasing concern due to the rise in aesthetic procedures. Both irritant and allergic reactions may mimic post-procedural effects, complicating diagnosis. Common allergens include fragrances, preservatives, HEMA, lidocaine, and acrylates. Injectable agents like botulinum toxin, hyaluronic acid, and hyaluronidase can cause hypersensitivity, including rare anaphylaxis. Patch testing helps diagnose allergic CCD. Awareness and prevention, including ingredient screening and patient education, are key for safe cosmetic practices.
