Objectives: GLP 1 receptor agonists are as a boon for individuals suffering from obesity or overweight .A large section of people with obesitty ,who want fat loss through non invasive body countouring modalities yaketaking very long to reacht their target weight and shape because of difficulty in persisting with changed diet plans . The GLP 1 drugs reduce appetite , food cravings and result in upto 25 % weight loss.Rapid loss results in skin laxity and muscle loss . Thus adding technologies for skin tightening , muscle stregthening and localized fat loss are beneficial in achieving a holistic outcome
Introduction: Glucagon-like peptide-1 (GLP-1) receptor agonists have revolutionized the treatment of obesity by promoting significant weight loss. Results of Non invasive fat loss modalities like Cryolipolysis,Green light laser,RF or Cavitation can be improved by adding these medications. Also rapid weight reduction induced by these medications often leads to aesthetic challenges like volume loss, skin laxity, and body contour irregularities. These consequences of GLP-1-induced weight loss can be minimised by modalities for tightening and muscle toning modalities like MNRF,RF and HIFEM.
Materials / method: As a scientific fat loss clinic we are integrating GLP-1 Rec agonist with other modalities.Identify patients with BMI above 29 .Their Hb1AC can be in range or raised. Few investigations are done and they are suggested a comprehensive plan with GLP -1&GIP rec Agonist along with the required modality.Their doses is monitored by a team of physicians and endocrinologist.During the treatment we identify key aesthetic concerns associated with GLP-1-induced weight loss and and depending on that add modalities like dermal fillers, biostimulatory agents and energy-based devices.
Results: A combination of GLP-1 Rec agonist along with other modalities delivers faster and more gratifying results instead of any standalone treatment.
Conclusion: As GLP-1 agonists become a key in treating obesity, their aesthetic implications have initiated a proactive response from aestheticians. To address facial volume loss, skin laxity, and body contour challenges we need combination of injectable treatments, energy-based devices, and, in some cases, surgical interventions. Future research should focus on understanding the molecular mechanisms of skin and fat changes and developing protocols &guidelines for treating this unique patient population
