Objectives: To present comprehensive strategies for preventing overfilled look during midface volumization treatment based on anatomy and clinical experience.
Introduction: Overfilling remains a significant challenge leading to unnatural facial appearance and patient dissatisfaction. Understanding the anatomical and biomechanical factors is crucial for achieving natural-looking results.
Materials / method: (1) Analysis of facial anatomy, including fat compartments and muscle dynamics.
(2) Evaluation of biomechanical facial movements during expression.
(3) Clinical experience in injection techniques.
(4) Analysis of overfilling clinical cases.
Results: Key factors contributing to overfilled appearance include incorrect treatment planning, improper filler injection area, misunderstanding of facial muscle dynamics, normal anatomical variability.
Conclusion: Implementation of preventive strategies helps to achieve natural-looking results and improve patient satisfaction in midface volumization.
