Objectives: Extended scope and efficacy of the AWT.
Introduction: Acoustic Wave Therapy is meanwhile a well established treatment method for multiple aesthetic disorders and rejuvenation treatment. It is a non-invasive treatment using focused and radial shockwaves with practically no noticeable side effects.
Materials / method: The treatment is performed with the “Sepia C-Actor” focused handpiece, “Falcon” radial handpiece and the “V-Actor” vibration handpiece. Additionally “Vacu-Actor” for the release of subcutaneous adhesions can be used.
Results: AWT equipment was significantly upgraded:
• Technical innovations include the replacement of the current “Cellactor” family by “Duolith”, AWT Edition allowing the additional use of the “Sepia FSW” focused handpiece,
doubled focused AWT pulse frequency,
vibration therapy with up to 50Hz,
“Visible Body” software,
monitors with FullHD display and PCAP TouchScreen and
“Soft-Actor” transmitter
• New indications for Mean Health can be successfully treated with our new AWT Edition equipment: Erectile dysfunction and Peyronie’s disease.
Also Women Heath indications might come in the future
Conclusion: The reported AWT innovations further increase the AWT treatment efficacy and indication range.
