Introduction: The Face ages and sagging affects mainly the Mesoface. Metaface and Proface did not sag or not significantly.
This fatty mesoface, which is one with the superficial malar fat upward and the fatty jowl downward, needs to be repositioned in our facelift concept.
In addition to being anatomically logical, our concept is also logical in terms of safety, as its undermining does not have to be pushed very far towards the nasolabial fold. Why? Because this logic is also in term of dynamic.
Materials / method: Concerning the 5 anatomical plane: deep, bone and deep malar fat are not mobile, they are attached. At the opposite: skin, orbicularis muscle at the top and platysma at the bottom, mesoface with its superficial malar fat and its fat jowl are mobile, dynamic and sag with a real solidarity between them. The repositioning of the fatty mesoface repositions de facto these 3 planes which sag with age.
Conclusion: All this makes our concept logical in terms of Anatomy, Dynamic and Safety .
This Safe Plane Face Lifting is a Mid-depht Plane Face Lifting
