Sculpting masculinity: Anatomical specificities for male

Objectives: To explore the critical aspects of maintaining masculine attributes in injectable procedures for the face, abdomen, and buttocks. This includes a comprehensive understanding of what enhances male musculature and virility and how to apply this knowledge in clinical practice.

Introduction: Injectable procedures for both the face and body are increasingly on the rise. With the growth of cosmetic procedures for men, great care must be taken to avoid stigmatized results, especially those with feminizing characteristics. It is essential to highlight the attributes of male facial beauty and distinguish them from female beauty. This topic is well-documented in the literature and should be continuously revisited. Additionally, for body treatments, this concept holds significant value as well.

Materials / method: A review of the existing literature on injectable treatments for the male face, abdomen, and buttocks was conducted. The focus was on identifying the differences between male and female aesthetic ideals, techniques for preserving masculinity in treatments, and discussing available methods and products that align with these goals. Key studies were examined to highlight effective approaches and identify gaps in the current literature regarding male-specific treatment strategies.

Results: The findings from the literature review underscore the importance of customizing injectable procedures to emphasize male-specific features such as a defined jawline, prominent cheekbones, and muscular contours in the body. The literature has shown that while techniques for the face are well-documented, treatments focusing on the male abdomen and buttocks remain underrepresented. The research confirms that understanding and applying the appropriate methods are crucial to achieving optimal, non-feminizing results.

Conclusion: With the rising demand for male cosmetic treatments, there is an urgent need for more focused discussion and education on techniques that maintain masculine characteristics. While the literature on facial treatments is extensive, information regarding body treatments, particularly for the abdomen and buttocks, is still developing and should be a point of emphasis. This session could offer both theoretical insights and practical techniques for facial, gluteal, and abdominal treatments tailored for men, adjusted according to the time available and interest of the congress.

Body treatments for the male patient

Objectives: Male intimal treatments refer to aesthetic procedures aimed at enhancing the appearance and function of the male intimate areas. These treatments can address various concerns, ranging from cosmetic enhancements to functional improvements, and they encompass a range of non-invasive and minimally invasive procedures.

Introduction: Aesthetic medicine has long been associated with enhancing physical appearance through various treatments and procedures. While much of the focus has historically been on women's aesthetics, a significant shift has occurred in recent years, spotlighting male intimal treatments. These procedures, which target the intimate areas of the male body, are gaining traction and acceptance as men seek to improve their self-image, confidence, and overall well-being.

Materials / method: 1. Penile Enhancement: Procedures aimed at increasing penile size, such as dermal fillers, PLLA or fat grafting, are becoming more common.
2. P-Shot: The P-Shot involves injecting platelet-rich plasma (PRP) into the penis to enhance blood flow and promote tissue regeneration, improving erectile function and overall sexual health.
3. Intimal boTox: boTox can be injected into the penis, scrotum or anal to enhance its aesthetic appearance and function.
4. Skin Resurfacing: Procedures such as laser and chemical peels can be applied to the intimate areas to improve skin texture and pigmentation.

Results: The benefits of male intimal treatments extend beyond mere aesthetics. Many men report increased confidence, improved sexual satisfaction, and a boost in self-esteem following these procedures. Furthermore, addressing functional issues, such as erectile dysfunction or discomfort due to excessive hair, can significantly enhance a man's quality of life.

Conclusion: Male intimal treatments represent a fascinating and rapidly evolving aspect of aesthetic medicine. As societal norms continue to shift, men are embracing these procedures as a means of enhancing their self-image and addressing intimate concerns. Addressing the male skin with energy based devices

Objectives: The development of minimally invasive, non-surgical, office-based procedures that have minimal downtime has stimulated an interest among men who may seek cosmetic treatments to increase competitiveness and appear youthful in the workplace. Male skin has some notable differences compared to female skin that can impact its care and maintenance. A variety of energy-based devices exist to treat the common skin conditions that males seek to improve. These will be described in the presentation.
