Dynamic wrinkles related to muscle contraction can be improved by botulinum toxin injections. Wrinkles and ageing textural changes can be improved by use of emollients and energy-based devices such as lasers, radiofrequency devices or radiofrequency microneedling.
\nWe sought to investigate the efficacy, patient tolerability on monotherapy and in combination with botulinum toxin and radiofrequency microneedling on a protocol-based approach.
\n
\nIntroduction:<\/b> A novel topical neuropeptide serum (TNP-serum) containing 2% acetyl hexapeptide-8, 2% dipeptide diaminobutyroyl, 5% polyhydroxy acids (PHA), 5% niacinamide, and 1% laminaria extract was shown to reduce superficial face wrinkles and restructure the dermal matrix. We sought to investigate the efficacy, patient tolerability on monotherapy and in combination with botulinum toxin and radiofrequency microneedling on a protocol-based approach.

\nMaterials \/ method:<\/b> Three groups of subjects ethnic Hong Kong Chinese (n=10 each group, aged 28-64, female=24) were recruited with concern of wrinkles and seek treatment. A structured application program was advised for three groups division. The first group used TNP-serum alone for 35 days, the second group used TNP-serum 7 days before the botulinum toxin injection and continue for 28 days; the third group used TNP-serum 7 days before the radiofrequency microneedling treatment and continue for 28 days. The wrinkles and textures were assessed with Global Wrinkle and Texture Score.

\nResults:<\/b> Baseline Skin Texture and Wrinkle Score were 2.2 (0-3) and 2.4(1-4) out of 7 for group 1; 2.6(0-4) and 3.7(2-6) for group 2; 2.9(1-5) and 4.2(3-7) respectively (Day 0).
\nThe average improvement in skin texture and wrinkle score was +0.8(01.5) and +0.3(0-1) for all groups at week one respectively (Day 7).
\nAverage improvement in skin texture and wrinkles were +1.9 (1-3.5) and +2.3(1-3.5) for group 1; +2.3(1-4)

\nIntroduction:<\/b> The lips are a popular area for filler treatments across all age groups. Existing evaluations of lip volume enhancement often rely on subjective, visual assessments and fail to account for the overall facial balance and aesthetic changes. To address this, this study uses various AI models for a comprehensive analysis to better evaluate the effects of lip enhancement and provide insights for patient-specific treatment plans.

\nMaterials \/ method:<\/b> This study involved 31 participants (29 females, 2 males), all of whom received lip HA filler injections. Pre- and post-treatment facial images were captured in a relaxed state, and these images were processed using AI-based tools to record and analyze facial visual analysis, perceived age, and emotional expressions displayed on the face.
\n
\nResults:<\/b> Post-treatment, The Facial Visualization Analysis revealed that as lip volume increased, the lip line became more defined and the natural curve of the lips became more balanced. The MiVOLO model demonstrated high age estimation accuracy (MAE: 5.15; ICC:0.866; Pearson\u2019s r: 0.875), with a mean apparent age reduction of \u22121.63 \u00b1 2.51 years (95% CI = -2.78 to -0.49, Cohen's d = -0.65), emotion analysis revealed a significant increase in neutral expression (72.97% to 83.44%, 95% CI = 3.38 to 17.56, Cohen's d = 0.58) and reductions in anger (10.25% to 5.84%, 95% CI = \u22128.53 to \u22122.28, Cohen's d = -0.42

\nConclusion:<\/b> This study provides significant insights by showing that lip volume improvement affects not only external changes but also emotional expression, age perception, and social interaction.
