IMCAS is a congress created by physicians, for physicians (Medical Doctors). Access to the congress and sessions is subject to a number of regulations that aim to guarantee the scientific independence of the congress and preserve it from any commercial bias or influence. A precise badge policy has been implemented specifying the rules of admittance to the different areas of the congress, complying with the criteria required by the CME accreditation organizations and scientific society partners.

According to each badge type a full or partial access is issued. In this regard, in respect of the local policies towards medical aesthetic treatments (we will need an official statement from the local medical authorities confirming this authorization):
- nurse practitioners may upgrade their badge to full access (except surgery)
- dentists are not allowed to attend congress sessions (dentists may only book the "Exhibition only" badge - except from countries in which dental surgeons are allowed to practice cosmetic injections).

IMCAS is authorized to take measures which may lead to the withdrawal of the badge and the denial of access to the congress area if the badge policy is violated.
