Dr. Marc DIVARIS

Dr Marc Divaris is a French plastic and maxillofacial surgeon based in Paris, with more than 40 years of hospital experience at the Pitié-Salpêtrière University Hospital. His practice has always been highly specialized in the face, combining reconstructive and aesthetic surgery, and bridging hospital, academic, and private practice.

For over three decades, Dr Divaris has conducted extensive anatomical and clinical research on craniofacial morphology, demonstrating the constant presence of skeletal facial asymmetry across the human population. This original line of work led to major publications in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery (PRS), notably his study on facial dissymmetry, and in Aesthetic Plastic Surgery.

He has introduced several innovative concepts in facial rejuvenation, including the Mirror Face Lift (PRS Global Open, 2020) and, more recently, the 3D Neck Lift (PRS, 2025, in press), a comprehensive tridimensional technique addressing skin, fat, muscular variations of the platysma and digastrics, and age-related hyoid repositioning.

With more than 170 documented cases, his 3D Neck Lift approach has established new standards for managing cervical asymmetry and restoring natural cervico-mental contours. Dr Divaris continues to publish and lecture internationally, contributing to the advancement of facial surgery through a tridimensional and personalized vision that integrates anatomy, asymmetry, and innovative surgical design.
