Biography
Dr. Gonzalez has worked exclusively in the field of dermatology for the past 20 years. During this period she divided her time between academic work at Cardiff University and clinical work at the University Hospital of Wales. Dr. Gonzalez’s areas of special interest include dermatologic surgery, laser surgery, treatment of pigmentary disorders, treatment of hair disorders, treatment of skin cancers and the management of acne and acne scarring. She also has an interest in cosmetic dermatology and has spoken widely and published on relevant cosmetic dermatology subjects. Dr. Gonzalez is currently employed as an Honorary Consultant Dermatologist (M.B.,B.S, DDSc, MSC (MedEd)) with the Aneurin Bevan Health Board in Newport, United Kingdom. She also works privately at the Specialist Skin Clinic in Cardiff UK.
