Aesthetic strategies for facial rejuvenation in patients on medical weight-loss therapy

Objetivos: To develop a staged hybrid protocol for facial rejuvenation and structural support in patients undergoing medical weight-loss therapy. Introducción: The increasing use of GLP-1 receptor agonists for medical weight loss has led to a growing number of patients with rapid weight reduction (>15 kg), presenting with loss of deep and superficial fat compartments, reduced structural support, and decreased skin tone. These changes require proactive aesthetic strategies during the weight-loss phase. Materiales / método: Visit 1: HIFU-based treatment for selective fat compartment modulation and neocollagenesis, followed by cannula-based poly-L-lactic acid injections and topical exosome delivery via dermaroller. Visit 2: Biorevitalization with non-crosslinked hyaluronic acid using combined microinjection and cannula techniques, followed by exosome application. Visit 3: HA filler injections to restore volume and to correct and reduce the severity Resultados: Improvement in skin quality, elasticity, and facial contour was observed, with restoration of structural support and natural aesthetic outcomes. High patient satisfaction and absence of significant adverse events were noted. Conclusión: Patients on GLP-1 therapy require tailored, proactive aesthetic management. A staged hybrid approach combining energy-based treatment, biostimulation, and volumization provides effective support of facial structure and skin quality during rapid weight loss.
