Early aesthetic modulation of recent post-traumatic facial scars

Objetivos: To evaluate the aesthetic improvement of early post -traumatic facial scars and skin quality following treatment with an injectable regenerative skin quality therapy. Introducción: Facial traumatic injuries frequently result in visible scars, skin texture irregularities, and aesthetic concerns that may significantly impact patient confidence and quality of life. While conventional management focuses on wound healing and scar maturation, there is increasing interest in regenerative injectable therapies aimed at improving skin quality and accelerating cosmetic recovery. This report presents two cases of post-traumatic facial sequelae treated with an injectable regenerative skin quality therapy, highlighting their aesthetic evolution and scar appearance improvement. Materiales / método: Materials and Methods Two male patients aged 24 and 38 years presented with post-traumatic facial scars 4 and 2 weeks after injury, respectively. Both received four sessions of an injectable regenerative skin quality therapy at 2-week intervals. Follow-up was performed for 2 months. Clinical outcomes were assessed using standardized photographs and the Observer component of the Patient and Observer Scar Assessment Scale (POSAS). Scar appearance, erythema, skin texture, color integration, and overall aesthetic improvement were evaluated. Resultados: Results Both patients demonstrated progressive improvement in scar appearance throughout the follow-up period. Observer POSAS scores showed a reduction in scar severity, accompanied by decreased erythema, improved skin texture, and better color integration with surrounding tissues. Standardized photographic assessment revealed reduced scar visibility and enhanced facial aesthetic appearance. No adverse events or treatment-related complications were observed. Both patients reported high satisfaction with the cosmetic outcome at the two-month follow-up. Conclusión: Conclusion Injectable regenerative skin quality therapy may represent a valuable adjunctive option for the aesthetic management of recent post-traumatic facial scars. In this two-case series, treatment was associated with improved scar appearance, enhanced skin quality, and favorable cosmetic integration without adverse events. These preliminary findings support further investigation of regenerative injectable therapies for post-traumatic facial aesthetic rehabilitation.
