Objectives: Injection of the HA fillers in the temple region for both beautification and aging signs getting very popular. As this is a high risk area fir vascular complications a deep understand of the anatomy and layer would be very crucial. Different type of injection techniques has been introduced and comparing of these techniques can help in selection the best treatment plan fir our clients
Introduction: The fullness of the temporal area is considered a sign
of youth and health. As the aging process passes, the temporal fossa tends to lose its typical convex appearance and turns into a depressed area. As a result, the temporal crest and the zygomatic arch become visible, conferring a skeletal aspect to the face. In this presentation I will review the anatomy of the temple following by aging changes with grading of the hollowness. I will also compare different injection techniques in both male and female clients
Materials / method: Multiple article review, Video demonstrations
Results: Each injection techniques has some advantages and disadvantages that should be considered when assessing the patient anatomy, aging signs and expectations. All clinicians should have a deep understanding of the anatomy of the layers of the temple, and the aging changes.
Conclusion: For each injection techniques (Subcutaneous, Inter facia or deep) choosing the right candidate, product and injection tools would be very crucial. The clinical should have enough practice and experience as this is a high risk area for vascular complications
