Objectives: Show my experience during 4 years over 130 patients treated in obtaining reduction of abdominal fat tissue by a transdermal radiofrequency device of 27.12 Mhz and 300 watts of power.

Introduction: There is a constant search for treatments that achieve an effective reduction of body fat tissue in an efficient and permanent way and without resorting to surgery.

Results: Reduction of abdominal fat tissue up to 15 cm, documented through measurements of abdominal circumference, ultrasound control and photograhs controls between 60 and 90 days post-treatment and with a control case of 17 months post-treatment

Conclusion: Transdermal radiofrequency device at 27.12 Mhz and 300 watts of power achiaved permanent abdominal fat tissue reduction without permanent side effects or complications.

Objectives: To examine the circumstances of the occurrence of adverse events associated with cryolipolysis and preventative measures.

Introduction: Body shaping treatment methods emphasize fat reduction over muscle gain in our facilities. 14,667 patients used a machine for non-surgical fat reduction treatment from January 2020 to December 2020 in our group. Of those, 9,055 patients used cryolipolisis, making it the most used. Only cryolipolisis device has been approved for the fat reduction by the Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare of Japan as a medical device. Some of the adverse events associated with cryolipolysis are difficult to treat. The rate of occurrence and reasons for serious adverse events should be considered.

Materials / method: The number of adverse events and their details among patients who received cryolipolysis between January 2020 to December 2020 in our facility was recorded. The data defines cases where patients revisited us in the six-month observation period after the operation and physicians diagnosed as the adverse event associated with cryoliposysis.

Results: Out of the serious adverse events by cryolipolysis, there were two cases of frostbite, one case of hyperpigmentation, one case of bruising, one case of radial nerve paralysis, and one case of Paresthesia. The reasons for the adverse events include four cases due to a lack of understanding or skill of the practitioner, and two cases where the reason was unclear. Out of the six cases, three cases recovered in the six months following the operation, while three cases had lasting symptoms.

Conclusion: Cryolipolysis is generally safe and the rate of severe adverse event is extremely low. However, some adverse events can last more than six months and cannot be prevented. It is necessary to explain the risks related to adverse events to patients before the operation.

Objectives: Cryolipolysis, 1060nm diode laser and HIFEM are cutting-age techonolgies that haven been used for body fat redction and body contouring for the past year. All of them are proven to effective in reduing body fat after several treatment sessions through different mechanism. Objectives: To look into many different body aesthethic modalities in the market

Introduction: In recent year, body aesthetic has gained popularity in the industry. Many non-invasive body aesthetic devices have surfaced in the market, boosting the adoption of medical non-surgical treatments over others. With the pandemic, more people ended up gaining weight due to lack of activities. Also, as the public are getting more concern over their overall health and body image, the demand for body aesthetic treatments have increased.

Materials / method: We look into all the different body treatment modalities that could help our patients reduce overall body fat (Slimming), body sculpting treatments to reduce pockets of fats on certain part of the body, muscle toning devices that increase muscle bulk, and body skin tightening treatments to improve skin quality.

Results: Each technology has its strength as well as weaknesses. By combining the strength of each technology, we could have more consistent efficacious treatment for body treatments.

Conclusion: Combination treatment is key to success in body aesthetic treatments. We have to look into the SSTF (Slim, Sculpt, Tone and Firm) in terms of body treatments these days.
