Objectives: Androgenetic alopecia in men, although responds well to topical minoxidil
and oral finasteride, the overall results are often not satisfactory and patients desire better hair density. Amongst the non-surgical hair restoration options, microneedling and PRP therapy have shown promising results. Polydioxanone (PDO) threads have recently emerged as a popular procedure for non-surgical face lift.Similarity in the mechanism of action between microneedling and PDO threads,recently proven efficacy in stimulating hair growth, we performed PDO thread treatment for AGA patients with encouraging result .

Introduction: Polydioxanone(PDO) threads has become an emerging trend for facial
rejuvenation. The entire basis of the thread lift technique is the foreign body
cutaneous response to the presence of threads within the skin. Androgenetic
alopecia may result in disturbed self perception and psychosocial interaction.
Various treatment modalities like oral finasteride, topical minoxidil and platelet
rich plasma have been tried with good therapeutic benefit. Herein we
determine the efficacy & safety of polydioxanone threads in five patients
suffering from hair loss due to androgenetic alopecia.

Materials / method: Materials and methods: Five patients suffering from hair loss due to
androgenetic alopecia and not responding to 6 months treatment with
minoxidil and finasteride were included in this study. Polydioxanone threads
were introduced in dermal layer at first visit. The outcome was assessed after
1 and 2  months by clinical examination, macroscopic photos, hair pull test
and patients overall satisfaction.

Results: PDO threads led to a good clinical result. A significant reduction in
hair loss was observed between first and second month after thread insertion.
Hair count increased from average number of 65 hair follicular units to 93 hair
follicular units. Therefore, average mean gain is 28 follicular units per cm2. 
After first month of treatment, the pull test was negative in all patients.

Conclusion: Conclusion:  PDO threads for androgenetic alopecia is the simple, feasible
treatment option for hair loss and can be regarded as the valuable adjuvant
treatment modality. Thus, further studies are needed with longer follow up with
large sample size

Objectives: There has always been a quest to develop newer therapies for hair loss including AGA. Many therapies including topical finasteride, LLLL, PRP, Mesotherapy, Stem cell therapy, peptides have been tried and all have shown promise in various studies. Mesotherapy and stem cell micrografting has particularly evolved in the recent past and has shown promise

WE have been working on transfer of autologous stem cells, derived from the the patient's skin, to the balding areas for induction of hair growth

Introduction: Over thousands of years, Scientists have worked to establish various treatment modalities in Healthcare services. In 18th century, They revealed that all life depends on chemical reactions that occur within cells, which could, in fact, be reproduced in the laboratory. The discovery of cell division and heritability in the form DNA was geared to bring ‘a whole other ball game of Stem cell and Regenerative treatments.
Regenerative medicine has grown to extent of Cell therapy, Surgical implants & skin grafts.

Materials / method: In this study 2.5 mm punch grafts taken from the reteroauricular areas were subjected to intense crushing in a special chamber of the Rigenera machine. This machine rotates at a speed of 80 revolutions per min and the special perforated base and the blades break down the the skin into a fine paste that contains the stem cells derived from the hair follicle and the adipose tissue in the punches. this is suspended in normal saline and the final solution is injected into the balding area using the deep mesotherapy technique.

Results: Most of thje patients of grade II to III stage AGA did quite well and had a good stimulation of hair growth within 2 to 3 months of the procedure. The effects were sustained for upto one and a half year in most of the patients.

Needless to mention that the medical treatment was continued in most of these patients during and after the procedure.

Conclusion: In this era of dearth of certified and effective therapies for androgenetic alopecia where we have just oral finasteride and topical minoxidil as approved drugs by the USFDA, there is a huge requirement for development of newer therapies

Autologous stem cell therapy has come as a welcome boon for these patients and for the hair physicians for better management of this difficult and lifelong hair disorder.

This can be a great adjunct to the medical treatment of AGA

Objectives: Vitamin D, a fat-soluble vitamin, is both a nutrient and a hormone. We can get vitamin D from sun exposure (UVB), foods, and supplement. In addition to bone health, vitamin D has many other functions e.g., cell growth, differentiation, proliferation, antiinflammation, and immune regulation. The vitamin D receptor is expressed in cells of many organs including skin and hair follicles.

Introduction: Most (but not all) studies have demonstrated association between low levels of vitamin D and hair problems e.g., alopecia areata, telogen effluvium, androgenetic alopecia, trichotillomania, and scarring alopecia. Objectives: To explain the principles of mesotherapy using growth factors, peptides, nutraceuticals and photobiostimulation for hair growth
To demonstrate the technique and protocols used in a variety of hair loss cases in patients aged 25 to 65 yrs old

Introduction: Mesotherapy utilizing different stem
cell treatments which include autologous derived from plasma, adipose cells, or progenitor scalp tissue has been used over the past years. The aim of my presentation is to show results of a cocktail mesotherapy using growth factors peptides Triamcinolone in conjunction with photobiostimulation and nutraceuticals in the treatment of hair loss due to telogen effluvium, androgenetic alopecia, alopecia areata and plus more

Materials / method: Patients with different types and degrees of hair loss aged 25-65 were treated with weekly sessions of meso cocktail of 5ml solution contain growth factors, amino acids, peptides and reducing agents +1 ml Triamcinolone acetonide 10mg/ml and 0.5ml lidocoicaine. A 30 g needle was used to inject the solution 3-4mm deep 0.5 to 1 cm apart at weekly intervals. Low level light laser done in some patients. Oral and topical medications were given to all patients. 8-10 sessions were done in 1 cycle. Some had only 1 cycle while others had multiple cycles.

Results: All patients treated responded to mesotherapy treatment in as early as 4 to 5 weeks of treatment. Low level light laser produced shinier, darker strands. Addition of BioDNA cellular marine complex oral supplement rapidly stopped hair shedding within 2 weeks and showed a rapid accelerated growth rate.

Conclusion: Mesotherapy cocktail using growth factors peptides amino acids with Triamcinolone resulted in hair growth in as early as the 4th to 5th session. With thicker and darker strands among those who did low level light laser. 1 Cycle resulted in growth however older patients with longer standing alopecia and thinner hair required at least 2 cycles. Oral finasteride is needed to keep the newly grown hair. Topical medications helped in retaining hairs in anagen and addition of nutraceutical bioDNA cellular marine complex showed rapid growth rate and stopped shedding within 2 weeks
