Objectives: To present a series of complications and their management in gluteal harmonization, including nodules, hematoma, seroma, migration, infection, and retractions, based on the author’s 18 years of clinical experience.

Introduction: Gluteal harmonization, while effective in enhancing aesthetic appearance, can lead to various complications. This abstract details the author’s 18 years of clinical experience in identifying and managing these complications, providing insights into effective treatment strategies.

Materials / method: The author’s extensive experience involved managing complications such as:

1. Infection and Migration with Hydrogel:
Managed by complete removal of the product, often requiring additional sessions, with some cases progressing to seromas.
2. Palpable Migration with Hyaluronic Acid:
Treated by puncture and manual expression.
3. Solid Nodules with PMMA:
Addressed with aspiration using a special needle, combined with corticosteroid and 5-fluorouracil.
4. Hematomas and Seromas:
Handled with drainage, compression techniques, and intralesional medication.

Results: Photographic and video evidence before and after treatment, along with detailed management information, demonstrated the effectiveness of the strategies employed. The treatments showed significant success in resolving complications and improving patient outcomes.

THE SAFEST SUBSTANCES FOR BUTTOCK ENLARGEMENT ARE HYALURONIC ACID, FAT, CALCIUM HYDROXYAPATITE AND POLYATIC ACID. WE WILL PRESENT THE BEST APPLICATION SEQUENCES TO OBTAIN GREATER INTERACTION AND BETTER RESULTS. IN ADDITION, WE WILL PRESENT A SIMPLE AND PRACTICAL TECHNIQUE FOR USING FAT.

Materials / method: FORTY PATIENTS WERE MONITORED WITH THE COMBINATION OF TWO OR THREE AUTOLOGOUS OR BIODEGRADABLE SUBSTANCES FOR FOUR YEARS. ALL PATIENTS WERE PHOTOGRAPHED BEFORE AND AFTER THESE APPLICATIONS.

Results: ALL PATIENTS WERE SATISFIED IMMEDIATELY AFTER THE PROCEDURE, HOWEVER AFTER AN AVERAGE OF THREE MONTHS THE SATISFACTION INDEX INCREASED DUE TO THE BIOSTIMULATORY EFFECT. ALL PATIENTS, ACCORDING TO OBSERVATION AND PHOTOGRAPHIC FOLLOW-UP, REPORTED AN AVERAGE DURATION TIME OF TWO YEARS.

Conclusion: THE SAFEST SUBSTANCES FOR BUTTOUS ENLARGEMENT ARE HYALURONIC ACID, FAT, CALCIUM HYDROXYAPATITE AND POLY-LACTIC ACID. BY UNDERSTANDING THE INTERACTION OF THESE SUBSTANCES WITH OUR CELLS IT IS POSSIBLE TO PROGRAM A CORRECT SEQUENCE FOR GREATER EFFECTIVENESS AND SATISFACTION.

Objectives: Show the results and parameters used in the elimination of gluteal siderosis through the use of Q-switched nanosecond and picosecond lasers.

Introduction: Gluteal siderosis consists of a grayish-brownish pigmentation in the buttocks caused by the pigment from the iron present in intramuscular iron injections in cases of anemia and accidental or surgical trauma.

Materials / method: From 2015 to date, 22 female patients with this diagnosis have been treated using a nanosecond Q-switched laser and a picosecond Q-switched laser.

Results: Of these 22 patients, 16 responded to a satisfaction survey. Of these 16, 12 considered the pigmentation significantly or entirely erased. 1 consider that little was erased. 3 that could not be deleted.

Conclusion: The only successful treatment to completely or partially erase gluteal siderosis is the use of a Q-switched laser.
