Dr Alastair Clark Specialty : Aesthetic Physician Country : South Africa Dr Alastair Clark is Medical director and founder of Sandton Aesthetic Institute in Johannesburg, South Africa. He qualified at the University of the Witwatersrand (Wits) in Johannesburg in 1980.
He has presented at a number of congresses for last ten years including IMCAS World Congress 2014, the World Aesthetic Medicine Congress in Monte Carlo, IMCAS China,The Aesthetic Medicine Congress of South Africa and Cosmedica, including both lectures and live demonstrations in various disciplines.
Dr Clark sits on the EXCO of The Aesthetic and Anti-aging Medicine Society of South Africa.
As the only official Restylane International KOL in South Africa, Dr Alastair Clark trains other doctors in his country in the art and science of aesthetic injection techniques and designs and delivers courses in this discipline. Dr Clark was installed in October 2007 as one of twenty international Global Trainers to give instruction internationally. He is the only South African to have achieved this.
Dr Clark is also an instructor of advanced botulinum toxin injection techniques, giving courses throughout the year in South Africa.
He is the National Head KOL for Silhouette Threads and a certified International Trainer for Sinclair Silhouette Softlift. Dr Clark devised and oversees the South African training programme.
