Dr. Andrew Willoughby is a neuromuscular trained, reconstructive Dentist who operates two cosmetic based dental clinics in British Columbia, Canada. Dr Willoughby has been practicing Dentistry since 1988 and injecting Botox since 2005. He holds numerous clinical awards and accreditations. His focus is on CT guided dental implant placement and rebuilding patients broken down dentitions based on physiologic principles. Aesthetics are a large part of what he does on a daily basis so, the use of Botox has been a good adjunctive treatment.
Dr. Willoughby has successfully developed and licensed multiple different pieces of US Patent Pending technology. In June, 2002, after a brief Patent Infringement lawsuit, Andrew successfully licensed one of the largest dental implant company's in the world with his technology.
For more than 20 years now, Dr. Willoughby has also been a dental consultant and key opinion leader to a variety of manufacturing companies. On numerous occasions, he has developed Intellectual Property, validated it by creating clinical prototypes, then helped to successfully commercialize these dental products.
Dr Willoughby has performed over 15,000 peri-osseous surgeries with a medical grade nano-silver wound wash/irrigant called Silversol, that has profound wound healing and preservative characteristics. His extensive experience and knowledge of this nano-molecular silver technology lead Dr Willoughby to investigate its use as an alternative BOTOX® diluent. What he discovered (in a limited human clinical trial) was that the useful time of the BOTOX® effect could be extended by upwards of 200% and that this new diluent was capable of preserving the diluted BOTOX® solution for months rather than weeks.
