Dr Chau Yee Charlene NG

Dr. Chau Yee (Charlene) Ng, MD PhD is a consultant dermatologist and dermatologic surgeon and assistant professor in Chang Gung Memorial Hospital (CGMH) Linkou Taipei Branch, Taiwan. She is the founding director of vitiligo clinic and pigment research center incorporating a specialty clinic and research laboratory. She is also the head of department of dermatology and aesthetic medicine center, Jen-Ai Chang Gung Health Alliance Hospital. Dr.Ng received the National Innovation Award for portable optical coherence tomography skin imaging devices in the year 2021. She uses basic, translational, and clinical research approaches to understand melanocytes cell biology in vitiligo and pigmentary disorders, focusing on developing new diagnostic tools (skin imaging, biomarkers) and new treatments.
